GeoGebra
GeoGebra doesn’t have any tools to determine similarity. GeoGebra does, however, have a tool that can determine if there is congruence between two figures. Recall that if two figures are congruent, then they are similar as well—but the opposite is not always true!

- Open
Algebra ViewandGraphics ViewunderViewinMenu. - 2.
- Draw two figures in
Graphics View. They can be anything, as long asGeoGebrais able to name them. - 3.
- Type
AreCongruent(Object, Object)
in the
Algebra View. Replace eachObjectfield with the names of the figures.
If the figures are congruent, the word true will appear in the Algebra View. If they are not congruent, the word false will appear instead.
