GeoGebra
Say you are using the speed of light a lot in your calculations in GeoGebra, and you find it a bit inconvenient to write “ m/s” over and over. Instead, you can assign the prefix c to the value . Then you can just type c instead of in your calculations.
This is why prefixes are so useful. The advantage of prefixes is that you can store any value in GeoGebra, so that you don’t have to type it over and over. It looks good too!
In order to use prefixes in GeoGebra, you have to make them yourself first. You can do this by entering them into the Algebra View. For example, if you want to create a prefix “k” in “kilo” as a value, you can type k = 1000 in Algebra View.

- The prefixes you make can be found in
Algebra View. They can now be used for calculations inCAS, by simply writing the prefix instead of the value assigned to it.
