The Probability Calculator in
GeoGebra is easy to use. Here’s how you can use it compute probabilities from the binomial distribution.
GeoGebra Instruction 1
Probability Calculator View in Menu. Distribution tab at the top of the window. Binomial from the drop-down list. Insert the values for and from your problem. Left-sided Interval Two tailed, or Right-sided If you’re asked to compute the probability of getting exactly successes, you can find it in the table on the right-hand side.
If you’re asked to compute the probability of getting at least successes, choose Right-sided and enter the value of .
If you’re asked to compute the probability of getting at most successes, choose Left-sided and enter the value of .
If you’re asked to compute the probability that the number of successes is between and successes, including and , choose Interval and enter the values of and .
If you’re asked to compute the probability that the number of successes is not between and successes, including and , choose Two tailed and enter the values of and . Alternatively, you can compute the probability in the item above, and then take that probability and subtract it from 1.
